A New Way to Do Sports Photos
We have started using a company called Photoday for viewing and ordering sports photos. It provides a lot of great benefits to athletes and their families!
- No more paper order forms, no sending cash or checks – all ordering is done online, AFTER picture day. Use your computer or smart phone to view photos & place orders.
- View your photos before ordering. Each player will have multiple poses to choose from!
- Packages can contain a variety of poses. Mix different images in one package.
Preparing for Photo Day
On Picture Day please be sure to wear:
-Sports uniform from head to toe (including shoes, hat, belt, socks, etc.)
-Shirt tucked in
On Picture Day please bring:
-Any gear you would like to use for individual photos
-A smashing smile and fierce game face
Tips and Tricks:
-Be mindful of any clothing underneath your uniform, if you want it to show.
-Clean skin and nose, no temporary tattoos, hair neat, clean uniform
-WE RECOMMEND NO EYE BLACK FOR PHOTOS (If you choose to wear we cannot photoshop it out later without a fee)
-We recommend athletes who wear ponytails, to choose either 2 ponytails or one half-up ponytail
*Wearing one full ponytail causes your hair to disappear behind your head

Do we need to have poses ready?
-
No, not at all! We know all the best angles and poses that will make your athlete feel super cool and also make mom happy! We strive for some genuine smiles and fierce games faces to our absolute best ability. Now, if your athlete has a particular pose they would like to try please let us know and we will be happy to do that. Since we are photographing high volumes we just ask that they know what pose they would like.

Do we need to bring a bat? Ball? Hockey stick, etc?

We have all balls on site to use as props but please bring any other gear your athlete uses. For example, baseball players please bring glove, bat, batting gloves and/or anything else they may want to use. This is really dependent on what the athlete wants to use and we welcome creativity and individuality.

Can my athlete wear sunglasses?

The very first image we complete for each athlete is the image that we will use to build a team composite so we ask that they come dressed exactly as every member of the team or group without any added props such as sunglasses.
Once we get that pose we are happy to allow the athlete to wear sunglasses or whatever they would like.

How long before I can see the photos?

We try our best to load all images within 2 weeks of the last date that we photograph your team or group. Make sure you subscribe to be notified as soon as the photos are available.

How long does it take to get photos back?

The answer varies. If you purchase digital products you can download those instantly and start sharing and printing as you wish immediately.
Each group or league's coordinator chooses the shipping option. If the group decides to offer free bulk shipping to everyone and handle product pick-up the ordering window will be open up to 2 weeks after the gallery goes live. If this option is chosen you may still order after that point, however, you will pay for shipping and the products will ship directly to you.
A group may also choose only direct shipping. There is a charge to ship each order but they are delivered directly to the customer. You may order at any point that the job is open and you get your items up to a week after ordering.

When I visit my gallery, I see "This gallery isn’t quite ready yet." Where are my photos?

This message occurs when your photographer has not yet published the photos for you to view and purchase. You can text the access code to 90738, and PhotoDay will send you a text message when the photos are published.
